Alumni Night Out

Mark Your Calendars

The Colorado State University Alumni Association is excited to bring you Alumni Night Out - a series of events throughout the coming year designed to bring together local Rams for a variety of experiences that celebrate our awesome city and spectacular campus!

Check out what we have planned for 2019 below.

2019 Alumni Night Out Schedule

Climate of Colorado Workshop
Thursday, March 28
Enjoy an evening of education, trivia, and reminiscing with former state climatologist, Nolan Doesken. We'll cover the parts of our weather we all love - generous sunshine, low humidity, mild winters, and snow covered mountains, as well as those tradeoffs that come along with them - drought, floods, hail storms, and dramatic temperature changes.

Blooms and Blossoms
Thursday, May 2

Have you ever wondered what goes into floral design? How do they get the arrangements just right? Which flowers go best together? Join us for an Alumni Night Out at Palmer Flowers and let your inner florist shine!  The evening will start with a 15 minute behind-the-scenes tour of Palmer Flowers, followed by a floral arrangement tutorial using seasonal stems. Refreshments will be provided, and the best part? You'll leave with a stunning bouquet to adorn your home or office. Bring your spouse, get a group of friends together, or celebrate Mother's Day early with an evening just for the two of you!

Spice Blending with Savory Spice Shop
Wednesday, Nov. 6
Join Dr. Susan Kirkpatrick, owner of Savory Spice Shop, for an evening of spiced snacks and spice blending. Each guest will take home a custom BBQ blend.
