Around the Oval – Winter 2025
The Winter 2025 edition of Around the Oval features value-driven entrepreneurs and businesspeople who never forgot the lessons they learned as students at CSU. From finding her voice at CSU to helping others share theirs, Maya Siegel (B.S., ’22) is redefining what it means to create change through storytelling; former CSU track athlete Byron (Billy) Rayburn (B.S., ’79) has channeled his racing philosophy of perseverance and having fun into running two successful businesses; courage and creativity helped liberal arts alumna Carla Thorning (B.A., ’99) build a thriving interior design firm; from the driver’s seat of an M1A1 tank to the corner office at Ducati North America, Jason Chinnock has built a career on authenticity, grit, and an enduring connection to CSU; and Clint Oldenburg (B.A., ’06), a former Rams offensive lineman, now channels his passion for football as a production director at EA Sports – still proudly cheering for the CSU Rams.
